The Learning Power website and related applications (collectively, the “Site”) seek to assist teachers in educating the next generation of energy users about energy efficiency. The Site provides teachers educational materials and activities about reducing energy usage that they can share with their classrooms, that may include children, teenagers, parents/guardians, and other adult users. Activities may include online games and videos. At this Site, Georgia Power Company (“we” or “us”) seeks to safeguard any personally identifiable information (“PII”) that you provide us or collected through the site.
Please note that we do not collect personal information from any visitor prior to collecting age information, except subject to some passive tracking exceptions set forth below. We seek to prevent the collection of information from children under the age of 13. Educators, parents/guardians, and other adult users may voluntarily submit inquiries to us in conjunction with Learning Power.

What Information Is Collected?

To respond to an educator’s request for materials and/or a meeting, we may collect the educator’s first and last name, email address, phone number, and school information. We also may collect PII when visitor pose questions or comments with respect to the services described on the Site.
We collect data for internal operations of the Site relating to analytics and functionality, including using web browser cookies to improve your user experience or for traffic measurement or analytics. Types of collected web browser data may also include impressions, product page views, conversion rate, total downloads and average engagement time.

THE WEB SITE DOES NOT COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ANY VISITORS PRIOR TO COLLECTING AGE INFORMATION. THE WEB SITE DOES NOT KNOWINGLY COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ANY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 13. IN THE EVENT THAT WE LEARN THAT WE HAVE COLLECTED PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM A CHILD UNDER AGE 13 WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT (OTHER THAN COLLECTION FOR THE SUPPORT OF INTERNAL OPERATIONS AS SET FORTH ABOVE), WE WILL DELETE THAT INFORMATION AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
