Learning Power is a free, in-class STEM education program that helps Georgia students in Pre-K through high school explore energy, energy efficiency, and real-world STEM concepts through interactive, hands-on learning experiences. All lessons align with Georgia’s DECAL guidelines, Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) standards, and Georgia Standards of Excellence. Since 2011, Learning Power has reached more than 1.5 million students across Georgia, providing schools with no-cost educational experiences that inspire STEM learning, build energy awareness, and encourage career exploration.
In addition to its free, hands-on energy education programs, Learning Power provides Georgia educators and students with digital STEM learning resources that make learning about energy and energy efficiency engaging and accessible. Resources include exciting experiments, interactive online learning activities and books, the Learning Power mobile app for iOS and Android devices, available through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences. All Learning Power lesson plans, classroom teaching materials, digital activities, and educational resources are available at no cost to Georgia teachers and schools.
