Tosha Morell

Coordinator

Over the last two decades, Tosha Morell has served Georgia Power’s customers, businesses, and stakeholders in various capacities such as sales, distribution, customer service, and marketing.

But her heart has always been in serving youth as an educator and mentor. In addition to volunteering as a Junior Achievement educator, she founded her own non-profit organization, House of Empowerment, Inc. in 2012.  House of Empowerment, Inc. primarily focuses on mentoring and educating middle & high schoolers but has served all ages with its various curricula.

Currently, Mrs. Morell serves Metro Southeast Region schools as a Learning Power Education Coordinator.

“My goal is to always give students a different experience from their usual lessons that’s both fun and exciting. It’s all about introducing more fun while still teaching Georgia Standards of Excellence,” says Tosha Morell.

When Mrs. Morell isn’t teaching energy efficiency or life skills through her non-profit organization, she’s immersed in home interior decorating or caring for her eight houseplants: Cash, Anna, Dallas, Patricia, Rue, Harper, Bow, Sprout, and Sage.  She also hosts a Christian book club in her spare time.

Tosha Morell resides in Hampton, GA with her husband of 15 years, Calvin. They have two children, Jace and Chelsea.

Morell graduated with honors from Mercer University where she received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership while minoring in Communications. She also has a Fundamentals of Supervision and Management Certification from the University of Georgia.

She’s a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Mrs.Morell serves the Metro Southeast Region which includes the following counties: Butts, Griffin-Spalding, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, and Rockdale.
