Jill Pennamon saw nothing but unlimited opportunity to connect with more schools and their students when many Georgia school districts adopted virtual learning environments.
Pennamon is a natural communicator. As a Learning Power Education Coordinator, she’s able to blend her decade-plus experience serving Georgia Power customers with her teaching experience. Prior to joining Georgia Power, Jill was an ESOL teacher at Peachtree Ridge High School.
As you can already tell, she’s passionate about Georgia Power’s dedication to its customers and future workforce. “I want students to see themselves at Georgia Power and how to apply what they’re learning in the classroom to their lives.”
When invited into your classroom you can expect highly engaging lessons that encourage investigation. Your students will see Georgia Power as a lifelong resource for all walks of their life regardless of their goals or aspirations.
Jill is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She serves Gwinnett County schools and Buford City schools.
When Jill is not at home with her two dogs, Teddy (Yorkie-Ton) and Chanel (Bichon), she’s singing a cover of Rock Steady with her sister and niece in her father’s band, Herman Pennamon Jr. & Friends.
