Camden Wallace

Education Coordinator

A sports enthusiast (and coach!) who loves math and science. Meet Cam Wallace.

With 11 years of experience teaching special education, Camden (Cam) Wallace most recently taught at Northside Elementary in Cedartown, Georgia. Born and raised in Polk County, Cam’s goal is to light up young minds in their quest for knowledge. “It takes a spark to light a wildfire…and our job is to find the spark in each student that lights their fire for learning.”

A former college baseball player, Cam turned his passion for sports to coaching – spending almost a decade as assistant and head coach of Cedartown High School’s baseball teams. You can count on high energy from “coach” Cam as he delivers Learning Power’s energy efficiency education curriculum to schools in Bartow County, Calhoun City, Cartersville City, Catoosa County, Chattooga County, Chickamauga City, Dade County, Dalton City, Floyd County, Gilmer County, Gordon County, Murray County, Pickens County, Rome City, Trion City, Walker County, and Whitfield County.

Alongside his sports memorabilia (and a collection of sunglasses!), you’ll find his diplomas from Georgia Highlands College, University of West Georgia and University of Phoenix where he earned an A.A. in Criminal Justice, B.S. in Education, and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, respectively.

Cam and his wife Denna live in Cedartown with their two children. Weekends are busy with daughter Brinkley and son Ryker involved in – you guessed it – sports. Brinkley loves volleyball, Ryker plays baseball and basketball, and Cam and his high school sweetheart turned bride cheer from the sidelines.

While they are big Braves fans, the Wallace family may just be Cedartown’s biggest Dawgs devotees. On most Saturday’s, you’ll find them dressed in red and black, singing along as the Redcoat Marching band plays “Glory, Glory to old Georgia”. Gooooo DAWGS, sic ‘em!
